Questions

Frequently asked

Is GridMaker Pro free to use?

Yes. You can upload a reference image, customize the grid, and export standard PNG, JPG, or PDF files without creating an account.

Is my reference image uploaded to a server?

No. GridMaker Pro processes the image locally in your browser. The photo is used to draw the preview and export canvas, but it is not sent to an image-processing server.

Can I combine thirds with a square drawing grid?

Yes. Choose the Grid + Thirds overlay type to show both the cell grid and the rule of thirds lines on the same reference.

Is rule of thirds enough for every image?

No. It is a useful default, but centred subjects, symmetry, and strong negative space can be excellent while scoring low against thirds.
